Medical Staff

This is a presentation made in writing and in person to the Board of Commissioners of the West Volusia Hospital Authority.
March 16, 2000

The MH-WV Medical Staff met in a specially called meeting on Wednesday, March 15, 2000, to discuss the future of the hospital. The Medical Staff resolved, unanimously, to recommend the following to the West Volusia Hospital Authority:

• That our hospital remain open as a full-service hospital.

• That we keep all 156 beds in DeLand, at our facility.

• That we strive for long-term stability in the management of our hospital, in order to continue medical excellence in caring for our patients, and in order to improve and maintain the hospital facility.
